Therapeutic Family Support

Therapeutic Family Support provided by Jogo Behaviour Support

Therapeutic family support provides therapeutic parenting support for parents and carers to allow them to explore their thoughts, needs and feelings in relation to caring for their child.

What is Therapeutic Family Support?

Parenting is a rewarding yet challenging journey. Our Therapeutic Family Support allows parents and carers to explore their thoughts and emotions related to child-rearing while equipping them with valuable skills to strengthen their bond with their child. Through personalised programmes that may include behavioural support, psychoeducation about trauma and attachment and Theraplay® principles, we work closely with parents/carers to address specific challenges.

How can Therapeutic Family Support Help?

Our psychoeducational parent/carer support sessions provide a deeper understanding of therapeutic parenting and its relevance to their child's needs. These sessions help parents/carers comprehend the impact of trauma, attachment behaviours and dissociation in their parenting journey. We also explore and develop strategies to support their child's behaviour, adjusting them as the family's needs evolve.

Rest assured, our sessions are facilitated by qualified and experienced practitioners registered with Social Work England, BAPT, UKCP or BACP, ensuring the highest level of care and support for your family.

At Jogo Behaviour Support, we are dedicated to building stronger futures together.
